These were my Grandmother's ballet slippers as a little girl. She danced well into her seventies and these tiny slippers always remind me of her love for dance and life.

There's nothing quite like New York City in the Spring. With the flowers in bloom (see my favorites
here) and hustle and bustle in the streets, you can feel the seasons change. This spring we were in New York to shoot Nicole and Dave's engagement session in their West Village neighborhood. They are such an amazing couple, so warm and welcoming; it truly felt as if we were spending the afternoon with old friends. I simply cannot wait for their Sonoma wedding in the Fall!!

I have been riding horses all of my life and have always felt at home with them. After I sold my last horse, Link, I didn't do much riding due to my busy schedule shooting and traveling. Now, after almost two years, I am finally getting back in the saddle and it's been an amazing feeling. I'm looking forward to a trip to Ireland this summer where I will not only be shooting but also doing some serious riding! Yay! I don't have much free time these days but when I do, I'll likely be at the barn with this handsome boy...
