Marty A. Lowe Design

Marty Lowe specializes in interior design and her work spans from world class yachts, to offices and estates. She recently opened a new office in downtown Fort Lauderdale right on the river. She truly has an amazing sense of style and color, and it was so much fun to capture her work, not to mention she brought her dogs (love, love, love!) Enjoy!

The Flower Bar

Finally!! I apologize as I have fallen behind on my blogging, so please bear with me as I attempt to get caught up. We have been very busy and I have lots of great things to share... coming soon!

First, I returned to the
Flower Bar (an amazing flower shop in Miami) last week and shot some of their recent creations that continue to amaze me. They are so creative, modern and simply beautiful. Each piece is truly a work of art. Here are some of my favorites..

Liz and Steve, Married!

When I first meet with Liz and Steve to discuss shooting their wedding, they gave me a tour of their adorable 1920's florida bungalow, and their backyard, that at the time consisted of dirt, overgrown trees and an empty pool. Their wedding was to be in 3 months, and would be held in that very backyard.

On Saturday when I arrived for the big day, I couldn't believe my eyes. Fresh flowers, newly laid sod, and a bright sparkling pool that had been sprinkled with petals. It was lovely. Liz and Steve managed to turn a dirt lot with a tear down into one of the best wedding locations ever, and they did almost all the work themselves.

The do it yourself story continued when friends of Liz's and myself Aria and Paola of D'Lish (so.dlish@yahoo.com) stepped in to plan the wedding. Not only did they plan, but they created flower arrangements, made invites, favors, and Aria even baked the wedding cake!!

They had a wonderful guitarist named Leiah Sicilliano, Liz's hair was done locally at Aqua Salon of Ft. Lauderdale, and her makeup was done by her best friend's sister Loli Ponce.
The wedding was relaxed, beautiful and reminded us all the simplicity is stunning. To see the full slideshow

Michelle and Russ, Rehearsal Dinner, Mexico

I love that in the past few years many couples are taking a rehearsal dinner and turning it into a welcome party for everyone. That is exactly what I hope to do with mine!
Michelle and Russ welcomed all their guests to Mexico with a Mexican buffet, mariachi band, and margaritas. They also chose to have me shoot the party as well. It was a great idea as there were many toasts and great moments throughout the night that will make a great addition to their album. Here is a glimpse...

Michelle and Russ Married!

Michelle and Russ were married at the H10 Ocean Turquesa in Cancun, Mexico. They had a beautiful rooftop wedding, a cabana pool side cocktail hour, followed by a rooftop reception. We had perfect weather and everyone was relaxed and in vacation mode, one of my favorite things about destination weddings!!
Michelle and Russ I hope you enjoy your safari honeymoon, I can't wait to hear all about it! Here is their really long wedding post(I couldn't help myself), to see the full slideshow
