Holiday Cards!?!

My Life
Today I thought, like I
do every year at this time, ' I should really start
my Christmas card so I'm not scrambling last minute'.
And like every year, I continue on with whatever I
was doing before and don't think too much more about
it until December 1st, then December 15th, then the
Post Office announcing the Holiday Postal Deadline.
Procrastinate? Never!
So while I am going to attempt to get a jump start this year, (and stick to it), I thought I would remind all my clients as well, not to procrastinate! I know this year people are on a budget more than ever, and I think it is a great year to think about postcards (a low cost option), and using an image from your engagement session, your wedding, or your portrait session that we have already shot. Here are some ideas...

Axl and Georgia's Day
Nov/14/08 11:58 AM Filed under: My Life
This past weekend my
dear friend Georgia from New York came for a visit.
She is a very talented fashion photographer that I am
sure will one day be gracing the pages of top
publications and ads. Aside from her photographic
talents, she is also blessed with more energy than
any person I know. I would consider myself pretty
high energy, when I'm with Georgia, my opinion sways.
She spent the day with my dog, Axl, and in the same
day the hit the dog park, the dog water park, and the
dog beach. Wow! Axl slept for about two days
after.... Georgia shoot these images with her iPhone
and I was so proud to see Axl's leap into the water
(we've been working on that!), and here he is at the
end of the day on the beach. Come back soon Georgia!
The Rolle Family Portrait Session
The Rolle Family lives
in Texas but came into town for a wedding, and while
they were here decided to do some portraits. They are
such a beautiful family, I could have taken their
photographs all day! Jasmine, Raven, and Roman (their
children.. I love their names!) were adorable and
even little Roman was such a trooper (with some help
from Ironman bribes!
). We couldn't have asked for a
more beautiful day or sunset. It was such a
pleasure to meet you all, come back soon!

The Wedding Salon Event

On Monday we attended
the Wedding Salon Event for the first time. It was
held at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. We meet so many
great brides and vendors, it was a great first
year experience. I am sure we will be back! Thanks
so much to my finance Chad and Safaa for your
help! Thanks Wedding Salon!

I just got home from
the beach, shooting the most stunning family! Not
only were they all really beautiful but so sweet!
I have had a crazy week (as usual) and am so excited that the Wedding Salon Event is tomorrow. I hope to see you there! Here is a sneak peek of my shoot today, more to come!

Election Day!

It's Election Day! It's
very exciting and a bit nerve wrecking too, but I
hope no matter what it brings positive change to
America. I'm so excited that so many people are
charged up and out voting! Chad was Napoleon Dynamite
for Halloween, and if you can't decide who to vote
for....
D'lish at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Two of my good friends
Paola and Aria recently combined their culinary
talents to form the event planning and catering
company they have named D'lish. They are off to a
quick start and have already begun catering many high
end events including this years Fort Lauderdale boat
show. The
boat show is always a huge event, and I swung by
their yacht to shoot some of their creations. They
can handle events large and small (including
weddings) and always have such a great way of
presenting all their dishes. If you are looking
for a catering or event planning you can reach
them at: so.dlish@yahoo.com. Enjoy!
