Family, Holidays and the Steeplechase

This weekend, I ate too much, probably drank too much, but had a great time! I hope you did the same, and had a happy and safe holiday. We had a lot of family in town (including my Dad and future in-laws meeting for the first time!) which was wonderful to be able to spend time with them all, and it couldn't have gone better. On Saturday we headed to the Palm Beach Steeplechase, which was amazing! I can't wait to go next year, I think it is going to be a new tradition. Lots of hats, tailgating, horses, dogs, and of course beautiful weather! Here is a glimpse..

Elf's Equine Session

Once in a while I get a chance to combine both my passions- horses and photography. Yesterday I shot Elf, the Morgan dressage horse. He is getting ready to be sold and needed some shots for his portfolio. Here are some of my favorites...

Wellington WEF Horse Show

For those who don't know, my other passion in life (besides photography) has always been horses. I spend most of my off days with them, and many of those days this time of the year up at the show in Wellington. Right now some of the most talented horses in the world are competing in Wellington, and great to watch. Here are a few images from the show.
