The Content Marketing Director (or CMD) is responsible for strategically creating and using content to grow the business: generate leads and sales across all platforms.

CMD will lead the GROWTH TEAM to create content marketing strategies that gain business exposure, build our email database (lead generation) and generate sales. But most importantly, is responsible for the overall performance of our marketing efforts across all four brands: KT Merry Photography, KT Merry Courses, Render Loyalty and KT Merry Print Shop.

We specialize in luxury destination weddings and editorials across the globe. We work with professionals at the top of our industry serving elite (sometimes celebrity) clients. Privacy is paramount to our clients, as is professionalism, discretion, and signing non-disclosure agreements. In addition to our wedding work, we also have two fine art print shops selling artwork to interior designers and to discerning clients. Lastly, we are offer education for photographers and launch online several times per year. 
 
Our finished products look glamorous and anyone who works in luxury products/services knows that there is an incredible amount of hard work that happens behind-the-scenes to create that effortless, magical, end result. You will be an integral part of the behind-the-scenes team.

KT Merry Photography is a luxury destination photography team serving a global clientele.. KT Merry and her partner Chad Keffer shoot exclusive destination weddings, editorials, and bridal campaigns across the globe for designers like Monique Lhuillier. KT is consistently recognized as a top wedding photographer by media outlets including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Brides, People Magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings.

 Now, along with her husband and business partner, Chad, KT is sharing her knowledge with photographers looking to refine their businesses and create purpose-filled lives. KT Merry Courses launched The Abundance Plan digital course for photographers in early 2020 and is preparing for its fourth launch in the Fall of 2021.

In addition to being consistently recognized as a top wedding photographer, KT Merry is also celebrated for her fine art photography and is known for creating natural, ethereal, painterly portraits and capturing fleeting moments that seem to freeze both time and emotion. Through the KT Merry Print Shop, KT Merry brings awe, wonderment and adventure into your home and life through artfully curated fine-art printed photographs.

Created by photographer KT Merry as a means of creating connection across species and borders, Render Loyalty seeks to support solutions to the perils facing our world’s animals. Through fine art film photography of threatened species in the wild, Render Loyalty aims to bring the conversation and hope of conservation to your most sacred of places—your home. Each fine art print purchase directly supports the invariable work of the world’s leading wildlife conservancies, in turn inspiring hope, cultivating awareness and ensuring a future for the magnificent animals we love.

This role can be broken down into 3 main categories:
Marketing
Launch Promotion/Org
Paid Advertising

MARKETING
~ Oversees and manages team members/VAs running all social platforms 
~ Training and managing team in running all elements of Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest from strategy to content creation, planning, engagement on platform, DMs and strategies for growth (completely hands off from physical platform)
~ Management of copywriting deliverables
~ Constantly searching for new strategies and opportunities for massive growth while also finding ways to repurpose existing content to leverage for multiple platforms
~ Overseeing the creation and managing Instagram Content Strategy development and ongoing process
~ Work with team/ads manager for development of Facebook and Pinterest presence/ads
~ Manage valuable content creation to attract and entice both new and existing audiences
~ Drive awareness to engagement, to course list building, to upcoming subscription model
~ Grow retargeting lists
~ Continue to build more excitement around brand to sell future products/promotions

LAUNCH PROMOTION/ORG
~ Manages creation of content promoting upcoming launch events on all platforms
~ Facebook copy/image promo
~ Creating existing methods for engaging content and exploring new avenues and strategies for promo
~ In charge of managing content development and execution (i.e.: ad creation, email and copy creation, and content strategy for team launches/affiliate launches)
~ Approving and managing ad design
~ See copywriting needs for ads, emails, social media, and sales pages through to execution
~ Manages ad strategy, creation, implementation
~ Management of Facebook ads manager
~ Tracking lead generation KPIs

PAID ADVERTISING
~ Managing the Facebook ads team 
~ Regularly reviewing all data to drive strategy 
~ Overseeing strategy to increase leads and conversations in pre-launch and launch
~ Overseeing content strategy and managing graphics and copy team
~ Ensuring 90, 60, 30 and 14 day content calendars are being maintained
~ Regularly reviewing industry changes and updating the plan as needed

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
METRICS: Open, Click Rates, List Size, IG Followers/Engagement, costs vs. revenue generated, engagement to subscriptions, engagement to conversions, leads generated, funnel and promotion performance.

Expected Outcomes
~ To remain top in the photography industry in a way that informs our audience that KT Merry is an educator, thought leader and an expert in her field.
~ To create 90-day, 60-day, 30-day and 2 week content flow broken down by brand: KT Merry Photography, KT Merry Courses, Render Loyalty, and KT Merry Print Shop
~ Consistent weekly emails to our main list
~ Consistent journal posts on both the KT Merry Photography platform (showcasing wedding + editorials) and the KT Merry Courses platform (showcasing educational and behind the scenes content)
~ Our Instagram presence on all four brands is consistent, current, growing and engages with comments in a timely manner
~ Hitting quarterly and yearly goal metrics
~ Streamlined affiliate and ambassador programs for our digital products
~ Attend weekly team meetings within working hours and provide valuable feedback, insights and ideas
~ Growing and managing a growth team of high performers
