We specialize in luxury destination weddings and editorials across the globe. We work with professionals at the top of our industry serving elite (sometimes celebrity) clients. Privacy is paramount to our clients, as is professionalism, discretion, and signing non-disclosure agreements. In addition to our wedding work, we also have two fine art print shops selling artwork to interior designers and to discerning clients. Lastly, we offer education for photographers and  launch online several times per year. 
 
Our finished products look glamorous and anyone who works in luxury products/services knows that there is an incredible amount of hard work that happens behind-the-scenes to create that effortless, magical, end result. You will be an integral part of the behind-the-scenes team.

KT Merry Photography seeks a positive, enthusiastic self-starter with a proven track record of smart editorial and social strategy to join our agile team of high performers. In this role, you will create authentic connections for a high-end luxury brand and innovate creative content for a growing brand.

responsibilities include

(but not be limited to)

  • Producing high-quality, cohesive content and writing daily posts in KT Merry’s editorial voice on all KT Merry social platforms, including Facebook (+ FB LIVE), Instagram (+Stories, LIVE), Pinterest, podcasts, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Responding to and engaging with followers in a timely manner.
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date social content calendars (cross-platform and platform-specific) and scheduling posts across all social media channels (via scheduling software).
  • Optimizing content across different social platforms, managing social partnerships, and collaborating on growth strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of latest developments and trends across all social platforms
  • Partnering with the creative team to develop and conceptualize assets for social platforms, including copy, photography and graphics
  • Tracking social media analytics and content performance; presenting social insights to the KT Merry team to optimize monthly traffic goals, engagement, reach, video views, etc.
  • Staying on top of industry news, trends and leveraging best practices
  • Embracing the fact that social media ‘never sleeps’ and that your role will sometimes involve posting and ‘working’ on weekends or evenings and that your best ideas may come when you’re not ‘working’.

Desired Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of social media strategy experience is a must; experience in luxury goods, photography, fashion, editorial, or hospitality strongly preferred
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
  • A quantifiable proven track-record in strategic social media growth
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), great instincts and sound judgment for what’s on (and off) brand in terms of visuals, content, tone, and voice
  • The ability to transform the founder’s ideas into actionable, real content that captivates, engages, and inspires.
  • Ability to organize and juggle multiple projects, independently prioritize workflow, manage deadlines, and distill social numbers into actionable insights
  •  An undeniable passion for the art of building connection and community via social media
  • A desire to innovate and mastermind how to reach our audience and hit our goals as a lead strategist and content creator
  • Excellent analytical focus and attention to detail
  • Experience with Asana, Slack, Google Docs, and Dropbox preferred, but not required 


~ Base pay: ~ $45-55k/year based on experience, with room for growth
~ Remote work with a web-based workflow and weekly connect in an (established) startup environment
