ABOUT THE EDITORIAL

Earlier this year Chad and I, and about 100 pounds worth of camera gear, boarded a plane and traveled east to mainland China to shoot haute couture with Harper’s Bazaar. It was a dream shoot in every way, from the breathtaking landscapes of the Chinese countryside to the crew, and the exquisite designer gowns. This shoot allowed me to get back to my roots — I started in fashion photography — and it was an honor to be a part of. “In heaven, there is paradise; on earth, suzhou and hangzhou.” — Chinese Proverb
