Being published is a developing professional photographer’s milestone. It’s something you dream about, work toward and celebrate big when it happens. I’ll never forget when I made the cover of Martha Stewart Magazine (see more below!), but being published at all is a privilege.
Throughout my almost fourteen years in the photography business, I have had the immense pleasure of being published in some of the most prestigious outlets, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Martha. Without these milestones, my career would not be what it is.
So I thought I would round up and share my very favorites with you, as an act of remembrance and a practice of gratitude.
I was so fortunate to be a part of each of these events and shoots. I hope there are many more like them to come; but for me, this collection of features is a handful of gems I will treasure always.
Enjoy, xx KT
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s Wedding in Vogue and Brides
With my background in fashion photography, being featured by Vogue has always been an ambition of mine. And so, to have the honor of shooting such a special couple’s big weekend (in Tuscany, no less) and to be featured by the holy grail of fashion editorial was… let’s just say… beyond.
This bellissima occasion of Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s couldn’t have been filled with more love, joy and (post-World Series) excitement.
In my heart of hearts, I am a nomad. Nothing makes me happier than exploring new sites, scenes and landscapes. China has been on my wander-“list” for some time now, so when Bazaar Bride invited me to accompany them for a bridal editorial I literally jumped at the idea. China did not disappoint and getting to feature these extraordinary, designer gowns in such an exquisite location was “double happiness” indeed.

A Maldives Destination Wedding on the cover of Martha Stewart Magazine
I will never forget seeing one of my (favorite) weddings on the cover of Martha Stewart Magazine for the first time. What a thrill! Being featured by such an icon and an empire of taste was, and still is, one of the absolute highlights of my career.
This Maldives wedding encapsulates every aspect of my dream job. The location, the beautiful couple and those sparkling Maldivian waters.
Lea Michele and Zander Reich’s Wedding in People Magazine
It is one thing to photograph a celebrity wedding; it is another entirely to do it for a couple as fun, warm and sincere as Lea Michele and Zander (Zandy) Reich. Their classic Napa Valley Wedding at the Carneros Resort, featured in People Magazine and designed by Lisa Vorce, reflected all the natural warmth, joy and light that they emit themselves.
People Magazine snagged an exclusive feature of the images, including this one of their radiating joy as they recessed down the aisle. What a beautiful moment, and one I’ll never forget.

Spring Couture for Flutter Magazine
Many don’t know that I began my career in fashion photography. I assisted and learned for years behind-the-scenes (and behind the monitor) of fashion shoots from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in-between.
But in my mind, and perhaps yours too, no other city does fashion like Paris does fashion. Perhaps everything just looks better along the banks of the Seine, but a little lace, a sprinkle of bows and some feathers never hurt either.
Shooting the most delicious gowns by Marchesa and Monique Lhuillier at the Ritz Paris was a sweet treat indeed, but made even sweeter by being featured in Issue No. 17 of Flutter Magazine.

When it comes to bridal fashion and couture, almost no designer does it like Monique Lhuillier. Her work is synonymous with wedding gowns for the discerning, design-conscious bride, so it was truly an honor to be asked to shoot the Monique Lhuillier Bridal Fall 2020 Look Book.
On the shores of Lake Como, at the grand Villa Pizzo, the gowns took on a narrative of their own, worthy of a feature on the Vogue Runway.

've spent the past decade capturing love and chasing beauty across the globe, and I believe every story like yours is different and special, and deserves to be told exceptionally.
Drawing on years of experience in the fashion and editorial photography industry, my photographs are graceful, honest and boldly natural, while completely intentional. Whether it’s the opportunity to narrate the retelling of once-in-a-lifetime wedding days, or the ability to communicate issues of global importance, or all the stories in between, I look at photography as the method by which I get to leave the world a little better than I found it.
What we’ve spent the last decade learning as we built our business, we share with up-and-coming, soul-driven photographers who want to change the world with their work.
Love every single one of these, but that Maldives wedding is pure perfection. ❤️
