A Festive Desert Wedding at The Parker Palm Springs

Two high school sweethearts hosted the ultimate party for their wedding at The Parker Palm Springs. With three nights of events and a post-wedding brunch, they celebrate fully and well. They treated their guests to an elegant and festive weekend, all the while doing it just the way they wanted.

As Casey told Brides, “Do what you want and what you envision because, at the end of the day, it is about you and your partner and no one else. As much as you love your friends and family, know that you can’t make everyone happy, so make yourselves happy!“

The stylish groom sported a color-punctuated wardrobe throughout the weekend in contrast to the all-white bridal party. Similarly, the glamorous, white decor contrasted with the rugged desert landscape, adding an elegant softness to the aesthetic.

Meaningful music for Casey and Brad was scattered throughout the events, recalling their 15-year long romance that began in high school. But one of the most thrilling moments was the reveal of the canopy of twinkle lights. It was truly a design highlight (and a feat!) that turned out magically. 

It was an absolute delight and adventure to capture this gorgeous couple’s wedding at The Parker Palm Springs, and to get to embrace the desert landscape around us.

“To us, pictures were the most important thing,” Casy told Brides.

Regarding their pre-wedding desert photo session, Casey shared:

“The most memorable element of the whole weekend was venturing out into the desert with KT and Chad to do our pre wedding shoot! The Santa Ana winds had come in and the sand was whipping us in the face like crazy but you would never know looking at the unreal photos we got. As much as I love my welcome party and wedding day photos, my favorite pictures are from that day in the desert!! KT and Chad captured exactly what I was hoping for and we all had so much fun while shooting!

KT had us climbing under fences and up hills to a place that legitimately looked like we were on Mars. The sand was whipping all of us in the face, my hair was going wild, but the photos turned out absolutely insane and we all were laughing the entire time!”

Laughing all the way, indeed!
